October 15, 2009 - Fountain Valley, Ca As SoCal Dream moves in a new direction, they turn to former brass caption head Thom Willett to guide them through the 2010 season and beyond. Mr. Willett was previously SoCal Dream’s brass caption head for the 2006 and 2007 seasons. He was then promoted to Corps Director in 2008 but resigned early that season to follow an opportunity to help build the Velvet Knights program into the DCI open class finalist corps we witnessed this past 2009 season. Under Thom’s guidance in 2006, SoCal Dream was honored with the class A “High Brass” caption award at DCA Championships in Rochester, NY. |
